VOLVO STROLLER
Industrial Design project
Master's Year 1
The project was fictional and was not made together with Volvo, it consisted of two main areas of research Human Centred Design and Branding. The product design project was about equipment for children. The context was Stockholm as today in a circular service paradigm.
The task was to design the devices/tools needed for the users to take care of their children, but provided as a service instead of individually owned products. After performing user research for the given product the students were divided into groups were each group was given a brand to further analyse the brands current business strategy such as product heritage, service heritage, brand extension and life style heritage.
Each student was then to create a final design according to the research and design guidelines created in groups.
